This is it! The last week of Lent…can you smell the bacon?? Almost there. Might as well blow this week out!
I have more steak left over from “breakfast steak Saturday”, so I thought I’d break the indoor grill out and indulge! We also have some brussel sprouts in the fridge that we need to use before they go bad, so I thought I’d play around with them and try to make them like a local restaurant – I think it was some sort of teriyaki glaze. So first, I salted and roasted them for about 10 minutes a side…
…then I made a teriyaki glaze by heating some soy sauce, brown sugar, and rice vinegar, and tossed the sprouts in the glaze.
Add them to a grilled sirloin and a carb (in this case, some quick fettuccine), and we’ve got dinner, baby!
